Description
Factory puzzle is a 3D third person shooter.
Players have to kill enemies resolve puzzles to go through a factory controlled by bandit. The objective is to destroy the entire factory.
Players can use rifle to shoot at enemies and covers to protect himself. Also players have to move boxes and press buttons to proceed.
Goals
I started this project taking care of the shooting mechanics.
I've chosen an urban setting because of their large spaces to make the most of the shooting mechanics.
Then i looked on internet the right meters of a factory building.
After, i started designing a progression for encounters and puzzles, making sure to increase the difficulty room by room.
The first room is a tutorial, 1 box and one enemy to face.
Every 2 room there's a corridor to break the game pace and let the player save.
Once the objective is done (every puzzle is solved and every enemy is defeated), players have to press a button to destroy the factory.
A countdown starts and players have to face another horde of enemies to get out of the factory.
